RIVERSIDE: The Doubles teams of Madilyn/Sophia and Lekha/Angie both swept their games against the Huskies of Centennial on Tuesday to help propel King to a resounding 16-2 victory over another Big VIII league rival.

It was the first of a 3-match week to conclude the league season.

The match started with honoring the team’s Seniors, and then with focus and purpose, the Wolves worked on elements of their game that could prove crucial for the latter half of the week where tougher opponents await.

The first of which comes Wednesday, as King will travel to Irvine for a rescheduled tournament from last August. “It will be good to see where we stand strength-wise as we play some tough programs,” said Coach Harris.

In a busy week of tennis, its one down, two to go.
