RIVERSIDE: The girls tennis team competed throughout the past week and and yesterday the team went into the semifinals of the Big VIII League tournament with 8 or its 9 starting players who qualified.

Both the singles and doubles finals went to a 3rd set tie break, but MLK came up short and ended up on the losing end of both.

However, the girls had a great day collectively and individually:

Emi Williams finished #2 overall in singles and qualified for CIF on 11/23.
Jocelyn Harris and Adriana Huston finished #2 overall in doubles and qualified for CIF on 11/23.
Madilyn Harris and Sophia Soren finished #3 overall in doubles.
