RIVERSIDE:  On Tuesday, the girls flag football team followed up its tough game — and victory — against Norco with a dominant performance against North HS. The final score was 45-0.

Julianna Madelano threw for 358 yards and 6 touchdowns, adding one rushing touchdown as well. Receiver Natalia Williams and running back Selah Bugingo both recorded their first touchdowns of the season on touchdown catches of 22 yards and 18 yards. Kristen Mason continued her strong season with 5 catches for 94 yards, 3 receiving TDs and an extra point. Haydein Neahr added 4 catches for 42 yards and a touchdown for the offense. On defense, Annabelle Distelle had three sacks and a flag pull for loss. Linebacker Kelsey Hernandez had an interception, and linebacker Bailey Mann led the team with five flag pulls on the day.

The team is continuing to learn and grow each game and has put together a four game win streak. The highlight of the win streak has been the energy and focus the girls have played with, as well as their ability to fight through adversity when things have not gone their way early in games.
The Wolves are now 10-4 on the season and have a break until their home game against Temescal Canyon next Tuesday.
