TEMECULA:  What a battle it was today at Temecula Valley. The Wolves went into this match knowing that it was going to be very competitive.

After round 1 King and their opponent were even 3-3, the 2nd round saw the wolves pull ahead 7-5 behind solid play from Singles 1 and 2 and doubles 1 and 2. Freshman Emi Williams swept in Singles

The Wolves needed another 3 sets for the win and they got it. Singles 1 and 2 as well as doubles 1 did their jobs to secure the 10-8 win.

I couldn’t be more proud of these girls. We haven’t had an opportunity to play many matches to prepare for this one, but they showed a lot of grit and were willing to put in the effort needed to win together.
