This week several new King wrestlers had their first competitive wrestling battle at Hillcrest high school.  These new wrestlers had true grit and toughness as they experienced a physical battle unlike any other sport on campus.

The Street Fighter Award goes to Phillip Furfaro, Aidyn Hickman, Preston Epeleta, Kingston Sanders, Liam Roman and Peter Isley. These wrestlers put on winning performances.

The match against Grand Terrace high school exemplified improvement and grit for the young King wrestling team as Anthony Garcia put on a spectacular pin against his opponent and rallied the team to a 52-30 team win.

King will wrestle several teams this Saturday at the Victor Valley tournament with CIF and State ranked teams.
