King’s girls tennis team had a good week.  After shutting out Norco on Tuesday, they returned for another dominant win over Santiago High on Thursday to keep their hold on the league lead.

“It was another good result for us,” said King heach coach Shaun Harris.  “The girls came out ready to show why they are on track to be league champions.”

Harris added, “There were some very competitive sets that pushed both teams. In very exciting fashion, everyone watched as the last singles set on the day ended with a 7-5 win for MLK.”

There were mulitples of King players – Emi, Emily, Jocelyn, Adriana, and Lekha – who dispatched their opponents with a sweep of their sets.
