CORONA:  The Wolves lost in a close match against Roosevelt at Goose Creek this past Tuesday (199-196).

Martin Luther King played well, but the Mustangs played better.

Junior Harlan Yapa shot a team low 36 (E). Senior Chase Slavin and Junior Joshua Lance followed closely behind with their scores of 38 (+2).

The unfamiliar back-9 played host to the match after a last-minute change in plans by the course. Recently punched greens made scoring difficult for many players. Even still, the boys played hard to put together a great performance.

The Wolves are 3-2 in league leading up to Thursday’s “senior night” match against Corona at General Old.
