After a year filled with incredible achievements, the King Wolves Boys Cross Country team entered this season facing a new challenge: rebuilding, developing a young group, and finding someone ready to lead the way.

For the Wolves, senior Andrew Moyo has stepped up to answer that call.

As a returning captain, Andrew has shown exactly what leadership looks like when a team needs it most. With a younger roster learning what it means to compete at the level expected at King, Andrew has embraced the responsibility of being someone his teammates can look to for guidance, consistency, and an example of how things should be done.

His growth as a leader has not gone unnoticed by the coaching staff. Whether it’s encouraging his teammates, setting the tone at practice, or simply being someone the team can depend on, Andrew has embraced his role and helped provide stability during a season of transition.

That leadership has been backed by his own commitment. Andrew worked tirelessly throughout the summer, preparing himself for his final season in a King uniform and putting himself in a position to help the Wolves continue their tradition of success.

Great teams need athletes willing to step forward when their moment arrives. Andrew has done exactly that.

As he begins his senior season, we’re excited to watch him continue to grow as both an athlete and a captain while leading the next generation of Wolves forward.
