All players took care of their respective round of 16 matches with ease. The quarterfinals saw a very competitive singles set for #5 seed Aahi Tripathi against the #4 seed from Roosevelt. Ultimately, Aahi couldn’t find a way to defeat her opponent.

In addition, on the doubles side #4 seed Lekha Aji and Angie Woo faced off against a strong Santiago team that upset the #5 seed in the round of 16. The girls fought hard and won the 1st set 7-5 and then after losing the 1st game of the 2nd set they won 6 straight games for the win. #1 seed singles Emi Williams, #2 seed singles Emily Zhou, #1 seed doubles Jocelyn Harris/Adriana Huston, and #3 seed doubles Madilyn Harris/Sophia Soren all won their matches with strong play.

A very impressive day for the Wolves as they now send 2 singles players and all 3 doubles teams into the semifinals scheduled for Thursday. In addition, all 8 girls that qualified for the semifinals have earned a Big VIII All League distinction.

Congratulations ladies for the well deserved recognition.
