If you need a daily dose of positivity and validation that everything is going to be OK, spend some time with Gabe. Our swimmer walks into life happy, joyful, and energized. He never misses a chance to give someone a friendly hello and tell them about how life is going well. When Gabe first started swimming just over a month ago, he couldn’t make it across the pool. Now, he is able to swim an entire length without stopping and enjoying the experience along the way. I can’t wait to see how he progresses as the season goes on and his coaches and teammates couldn’t be happier to have him as a part of our program. Although cliche, Gabe is a pleasant reminder to always see what is going well rather than what may be bogging us down. I have never walked away from an experience with Gabe without a smile on my face and a refreshed frame of mind and spirit. We all need a Gabe in our life and our school and community is blessed to have him!
