A WIN FOR THE WOLVES ON SENIOR DAY

RIVERSIDE:  On Senior Day Friday, the Wolves were victorious against the Roosevelt Mustangs 5-2.

King got on the board first in the second when Senior Aiden Fox singled, scoring one run.

The Wolves added one run in the third. Sophomore Eli Lipson singled to right field on an 0-2 count, making the score 2-0.

Senior Jason Jones earned the win for King Wolves & Senior Juaquin Happy Ramirez earned the save. Jones gave up five hits and two runs over six and one-third innings, striking out four and walking none.

The Wolves amassed 10 hits and scored 5 runs in the game, which is their offensive goal every game. Senior Preston Carrera, Lipson, and Junior Mark Cadena each collected two hits for King. Senior Diego Loza, Lipson, Fox, and Cadena each drove in one run for the Wolves. The Wolves had four stolen bases for the game.

Senior Jayden Chavez, Senior Cory Lacher, Loza, and Fox all had 1 hit, Cadena and Lipson had 2 hits.
After the game, the Varsity and Freshman players cheered on the JV team in a walk-off win by Freshman Eli Tom, who doubled with the bases loaded and 2 outs.
The Senior Celebration ceremony honored the seniors and their commitment to the team and program.
The final game of the year for King Wolves is at the Big 8 League Champs Norco on Monday 4pm.
