RIVERSIDE:  The lacrosse program at ML King is less than a decade old and has already achieved stunning heights of accomplishment.  Set to lead the program in the coming years is newly hired Head Coach, Brandon Arias.

Coach Arias is actually not new to MLK LAX, as he has been assisting at all levels since the 2022-23 school year.  He came to King after coaching the Riverside Raptors/Revolution (a club team) for four years.  He started as a JV assistant coach in ’23 then moved to the head coaching position the next year, then assistant varsity in ’25 in charge of goalies and in ’26 provided leadership and instruction to the goalies and faceoff component of the game.  Arias was present throughout the early rise in the Wolves program.

Arias was born in 1978 and grew up in Indio, CA and graduated from Indio High in 1997.  His education in Cyber Defense at Riverside Community College precipitated his move to Riverside where he currently lives with his wife and two sons.  His eldest is a King graduate, Class of 2026.

Arias works as a Systems Administrator for the County of Riverside and enjoys fishing, camping and, naturally, involvement in the sport of Lacrosse.
