JONES THROWS COMPLETE GAME TO TAKE WOLVES TO WIN

RIVERSIDE: In Big VIII league baseball on Wednesday, Senior Jason Jones took the start and threw a complete game in just 88 pitches. He surrendered four hits and one run over seven innings, striking out two and walking one. The Wolves won, 4-1.
Sophomore Adan Diaz and Sophomore Eli Lipson each drove in two runs for King. The Wolves played good defense and didn’t commit an error. Diaz was 2-3, Lipson hit a double.
Senior Jayden Chavez, Junior James Mejia, Sophomore Cooper Cantrell, Sophomore Nate Lunetta each had a hit.
Next up for King Varsity Wolves is a game at Centennial on Friday to complete the 3 game Big 8 League series.
