RIVERSIDE: With the rest of the Big VIII schools on spring break, it was a great opportunity for a cross town match against the Poly Bears.

This match was a lot of fun for the guys to see some friends on the other side of the net and compete. Despite the close sets in the 1st round the Wolves secured a 4-2 lead. Again the very tough and competitive sets in round 2 were hard fought with a 3-3 score.

The Wolves needed another 3 sets to secure the win and they were able to grab 4 in the last round.  The final score was 11-7 in MLK’s favor.

When I say competitive sets I mean 11 of the 18 sets were decided by a break. This was a great contest and the sportsmanship was exemplary from all the players on both teams.

Chase Emmons completed another singles sweep and doubles team Ian Zhang and Ian Do completed the doubles sweep today. Great job boys!
