SLAVIN LEADS WOLVES IN WIN OVER CEN-TEN

RIVERSIDE: Martin Luther King faced off against Centennial at General Old for the fourth league match of the season. Senior Chase Slavin carded the lowest round of the day with a score of 35 strokes (-1) en route to the Wolfpack’s victory (213-205). Both teams exchanged the lead multiple times throughout the round. Junior Matthew Navarro holed out on the par-4 number seven from range to record an exciting eagle.
Coach Takano was pleased with the mental toughness that his players exhibited. “They didn’t fold when things got tough. My guys stayed positive and focused on the next shot.”
