CORY LACHER LEADS THE WAY PAST PALOMA VALLEY

Senior Cory Lacher collected 4 hits, a double, 2 RBI, and the save as the Wolves defeated Paloma Valley Wildcats on Friday by a score of 14-8.
The Wolves won thanks in part to 9 runs in the second inning. King had 15 hits in the game. Sophomore Cooper Cantrell 3-5, double & 2 RBI, Sophomore Eli Lipson 2-4, double & 4 RBI, Junior James Mejia 2-5 with a double, and Junior Carlos Moreno hit a triple and 2 RBI.
Miles Swan earned the win King. Sophomore Austin Acosta pitched in relief anf bridged the gap to Lacher.
King is now 7-1 with 2 more non league games before Big VIII League play.
Next up for the King Wolves is an away game at Jurupa Hills on Monday.
