RIVERSIDE: Boys varsity golf had a bounce back victory yesterday against Apple Valley during their eventful match at General Old Golf Course (203-202).

Family and friends came to support the team en route to their one-stroke victory. Kevin Peete Sr. – father of late teammate Kevin Peete II – was in attendance as well. His presence pushed the boys to play for more than just the win.

They played to honor their fallen friend. Harlan Yapa (11) shot a team-low score of 38 followed closely by Chase Slavin (12) with a score of 39. Freshman Levi In recorded his first victory as a member of the varsity squad.

The Wolves will face off against Apple Valley again later this week in the High Desert.
