MURRIETA: The Lady Wolves traveled to Murrieta Mesa on Thursday night for their first round of CIF playoffs.  It was a successful trip for the Lady Wolves, who took care of the Rams by a final score of 49 to 41.  It wasn’t a very pretty ending to the game, as the Lady Wolves struggled a bit against the Rams’ pressure full court press, but in the end, the Lady Wolves withstood the storm and came out victorious.

The player of the game was senior captain and point guard Martha Firmo, who dropped 19 points and 4 assists.  After the game, she mentioned that she was proud of how her teammates were able to withstand a tough environment and still come out on top.

The Lady Wolves will now host Rosary at 5PM on Saturday afternoon
