Amaya has been with our program all 4 years of her high school time and has earned the role of 2 time captain. Amaya was thrust onto the big stage her freshman year as she earned a spot on our school record setting girls 4×1 that qualified for the Masters meet. Most recently in her junior year campaign, Amaya anchored the girls 4×4 school record setting team to the state meet. She has had an impact on the track from the moment she arrived through her dedication to her craft and as a leader for the younger girls to role model their behavior from.
