The Lady Wolves recovered from a pretty bad loss the night before, and showed up in a big way vs a very talented and well coached Xavier Prep team.

Both teams played well, but a huge 3rd quarter and a big game from Bristol Dreessen gave the Lady Wolves the win.  Bristol led all scorers with 16 points and 11 rebounds, earning her 2nd double-double of the season.  Martha Firmo added 11 points and 6 assists, and Izabella Chavez and Jai Soliva contributed with 7 points each.

The Lady Wolves are now 12 and 3 overall and will host Warren HS tonight at 7pm.

After the game, the coaches made sure to remind the team that it’s a long season: everyone has to stay healthy, play hard, and compete.

The boys basketball team also competed but on the road, down the 15 freeway at Chaparral High in Temecula.  Four players notched “Double Double” efforts and King won, 61-55 to go to 12-5 on the season
