RIVERSIDE: On their home court for the first time this season, the Wolves hosted the Lions of Arlington and didn’t play “nice.” For sure, there was sportsmanship, but hungry for a “home cooked” meal, the Wolves devoured the Lions by a large margin, 79-42.
Combined with the lower level victories, it was a clean sweep for ML King.
“Program sweep of Arlington in front of a great crowd? I’ll take it!” exclaimed King head coach Darius Durham.
Reyce Peters had a fine game scoring a “Double Double” with 11 points. Josh Ajayi scored 20 with 6 of those coming on what Durham described as “monster” dunks.
Cristian Quintero put in 19.
With the win, King seems to be developing some momentum and sits at 9-4 on the season. A couple more home-cooked meals await them in the coming days.
