The Lady Wolves started the Wildcat Invitational on a high note, beating a previously undefeated 29 Palms team by a final score of 64 to 33.

This puts the Lady Wolves at 7-2 overall going into tomorrow afternoon’s game at 6pm vs Serrano HS.

Jai Soliva led all scorers with 12 points, and Kellin Nettles added 11 points and 4 steals.  The Lady Wolves started slow, and were down 6 to 0 early in the first quarter.

After the game, captain Martha Firmo explained how the team had to do a better job of starting games a little stronger: “sometimes we come out too relaxed and without enough energy and that can hurt us vs better teams.”
