RIVERSIDE:  The CIF-SS Sectionals came to Riverside’s scenic Andulka Park which meant for King’s two representatives, it was the equivalent of playing in their back yard.

Jocelyn Harris and Aahi Tripati took to the courts as a Double’s team and going in, earned a 1st Round Bye.

They waiting through the morning hours before facing off with a pair from Heritage High School in Round 2.

“They played great, controlling the points,” said King’s head coach Shaun Harris.  The team won those two sets 6-0 and 601.

In the third round of the day Harris and Tripathi faced the #2 team in the Section, a tandem from Corona Del Mar High in South Orange County.

“Our girls came out aggressively,” Harris said, but they ultimately dropped both sets, 4-6 and 0-6.

“I’m really proud of these girls, they represented the team and the school well,” Harris said.

Which is a fine a way to finish the 2025 season.
