Martha Firmo is a 4 year varsity player, and Captain for the last 2 years.  She leads by example, always striving to do her best on and off the court.  She is someone her teammates look up to and respect.  On the court, she leads the team in assists, prioritizing getting her teammates involved over individual goals.  Her unselfish play has earned her numerous recognitions over the last 4 years, including all league first team 3 years in a row.  Off the court, Martha works hard and maintains a positive attitude and always strives to do her best.  Martha is what MLK Girls basketball is all about: hard work, commitment, and dedication.
