RIVERSIDE:  An annual tradition for most sports is to honor the team’s current crop of seniors as the season approaches its conclusion.  Girls tennis did the same on Thursday while hosting the Huskies of Centennial.

The match itself was lopsided with King taking victory, 16-2.

“The girls played well and had a lot of fun celebrating this year’s seniors,” said King head coach Shaun Harris. 

Tiana Patel, Francheska Timbuleng, Zoe Zhang, and Grace Zhou are those aforementioned seniors.

“I enjoyed Senior Day,” said Zoe, “I enjoyed having my team there to celebrate my fellow seniors and I and our hard work this season.  I’m proud of our senior class!”

“Post season, CIF, we want to do well,” she added.

If they do, they’ll probably enjoy that too.
