The Riverside Sport Hall of Fame (LINK) is a city-wide organization that annually honors athletes, coaches and contributors from across all sports throughout Riverside’s history.

The Hall has several distinctions, the highest being “The Hall of Fame” in which just a select few are inducted each year and a bust of their image is enshrined at the corner of Market and 14th Street in Riverside.

The second tier is the “Wall of Distinction” also located at the 14th street location, which include a greater number of honorees.

Lastly there is the President’s Award.  The Riverside Sports Hall of Fame President’s Award honors those in Riverside who have provided distinguished service to community athletics and to the community as a whole.

Martin Luther King has had a number of honorees already.
