APPLE VALLEY:  The Martin Luther King Wolves took on the Apple Valley Sun Devils at their home course – Apple Valley Golf Course – during Thursday’s non-league friendly.

The wind presented challenging conditions on what would otherwise be a beautiful day. The greens were firm and fast.

The Wolves adjusted quickly allowing them to finish with an impressive team score of 190 to Apple Valley’s 200. Harlan Yapa (11) shot a team low of one under par followed closely be Chase Slavin (12) and freshman Levi In.

MLKHS looks forward to the start of league play next week. Coach Takano was proud of the team’s performance and is confident that they will ride this wave of momentum.

The Wolves are on the prowl.
