WOLVES HOLD THEIR OWN AGAINST NATIONAL POWER
March 17, 2026

RIVERSIDE: When a nationally ranked team walks onto your home field, “home field advantage” has a different sense to it. On Monday, King’s Castle had that kind of feeling, especially if one could remember the drubbing King took at the hands of Corona last year.
This year’s Corona Panthers may be missing their several MLB draft picks from 2025, but the 2026 version is still a juggernaut.
But King wouldn’t be intimidated and played well.
“Both teams were strong on the hill” said King head coach Justin Solis.
But Corona was just a little bit stronger at the plate and took a 3-0 victory over the Wolves. Senior Jason Jones started the game for King with Senior Happy Ramirez coming in relief.
Sophomore Cooper Cantrell, Sophomore Eli Lipson, Senior Cory Lacher, and Sophomore Nathan Lunetta each collected one hit for the Wolves.
The two team will play again tomorrow this time at Corona.
King 9-2 overall , 0-1 in League
