WOLVES DEFEAT THE HUSKIES IN CROSS TOWN MATCHUP

RIVERSIDE: Nothing like a good old dog fight on your home court in front of an enthusiastic crowd to make for a fine evening of entertainment.
Consider that the description of last Thursday’s matchup against cross-town rivals, the JW North Huskies agains the King Wolves.
Chukwum Ezinwa led the fight for the home team scoring 21 points in the first half alone. Cristian Quintero had 14 points and Mark Cadena scored 19. “Mark was great from in the post and from beyond the perimeter,” said King head coach Darius Durham.
Caleb Ruiz had 11 points including a 3-pointer and King would go on to score an 81-43 drubbing of their District opponent.
“We had a season-high of 5 players in double figures” said Durham of the Wolves balanced scoring attack. “It was a complete team effort,” he added, “another amazing home crowd atmosphere,” and with the frosh and JV teams winning, another program sweep.
King moves to an impressive 10-4 on the season with the victory
