RIVERSIDE:  The Wolves faced off  with the Poly Bears in the semifinals today of the Inland Empire Tournament. With more guys missing due to Science Fair, the Wolves were in a very interesting position.

A strong performance by Senior captain Andre Olea and freshman Chase Emmons secured the win in  #1 doubles and Chase picked up a decisive win in the #1 singles spot.

But the Wolves could only convert 1 more set ultimately falling 3-5 to the Bears.

The last round of the day saw the Wolves playing a familiar opponent in the Wolfpack from Great Oak. Again Andre and Chase picked up the #1 doubles line and Chase played another great set for #1 shingles, but again the guys could only get 1 more set and fell 3-5.

It was a great opportunity for many players to get some opportunities to work on their matchplay and develop for the future.

Next week starts Big VIII play with Tues away, but Thursday will be home on our newly painted courts.
