The 1st round Big VIII showdown between the Wolves and Sharks was everything you would expect from these clubs. Of the 18 sets 10 of them were decided by a break.

The Sharks took the early advantage winning a tiebreak in doubles that put the Wolves down 2-4.

The 2nd round had more excitement and ended 3-3. Down 2 sets going into the last round the Wolves needed 5 sets of the remaining 6, but ultimately had to win a tiebreak just to pull even at 3-3.

What a great competition that our players can take away many positives into the season. Freshman Chase Emmons swept in singles for the Wolves. This young guy is a great competitor and is currently undefeated in league so far.
