Samantha Woolweaver is an impressive young woman with a sunny personality to match. As new coaches, we have yet to spend a significant amount of time with our team to learn more about them, yet we were impressed by Ms. Woolweaver from the get-go. She was welcoming, yet respectful, and has received our new direction and advice with warm enthusiasm. Most importantly, Ms. Woolweaver has quickly stepped into a position of responsibility with our new team. She is dependably energetic and talkative with everyone on the team, and she is an excellent example of a hard-working teammate. She and Taylor Lauritzen, her close friend and fellow senior, have volunteered for the important role of determining uniforms for team competitions as well. Samantha Woolweaver is a natural leader, and her dedication to the team is noticed and greatly appreciated, which earned her the title of our team’s Champion of Character.
