The Lady Wolves had a very productive and successful weekend!  On Friday night, they traveled to Corona HS to take on the Panthers.  This was the first league game for the Lady Wolves after 2 long weeks off!

The Lady Wolves started slow defensively, allowing 20pts in the first quarter alone.  At the half, the Wolves had established a 12 point lead; the 2nd half saw the Lady Wolves lock in on defense, and taking the win by a final score of 60 to 47.

Freshman Sophia Manley dropped 21 points and 11 rebounds, her 3rd double-double of the season.

On Saturday afternoon, the Lady Wolves participated in the Coaches vs Cancer College Showcase at Rancho Christian HS.  The Lady Wolves took on the San Diego Cavers.  The Lady Wolves had a good overall game and came out with a 65 to 55 win!

Junior Jai Soliva dropped 22 points and 5 assists in the win.  After the game, Captain Martha Firmo expressed her excitement about the weeks to come, “we are playing well at the right time.  I hope we can keep it going as we approach CIF”.
