OUTFIELDER OFFENSE PUTS WOLVES OVER THE RAMS

RIVERSIDE: In a cross-town game, King took on the Ramona Rams.  King’s outfielders lead the Wolves offense in a 11-2 victory over.

Multiple hits were collected by Sophomore Adan Diaz 3-3 and 1 RBI, Sophomore Nate Lunetta 3-3 and 1 RBI, Sophomore Eli Lipson 2-3 with a double and 1 RBI, and Senior Cory Lacher 2-5 and 2 RBI.  Senior Jayden Chavez 2 RBI, Junior James Mejia 1 RBI, Junior Jay’Veon Rugama 1 RBI, and Junior Mark Cadena 1 RBI

The Wolves scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Rugama hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Nathan Lunetta singled, scoring one run, Chavez was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Cory Lacher singled, scoring two runs.

Junior Michael Lamb earned the win for King Wolves. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over 4.2 innings, striking out three and walking three. Junior Sebastian Stewart pitched 2.1 innings in relief.

The Wolves play at home on Wednesday against Arlington.
