She finished her career with the Cowboys with the 4th most career strikeouts all time in California, 2nd most shutouts all time and was 6th in the all time ranks for wins.
From Cajon she competed for the University of Oklahoma, long the crown jewel of collegiate softball. The success continued for Lana. While in Oklahoma she earned both her under grad and graduate degrees.
Her coaching career began in short order as she worked as a Grad Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. Upon her return to California, she was the head coach at San Bernardino High School for two seasons, then assistant at Cajon for 8 years, followed by a stint as assistant coach at Chaffey College and then leading the Softball club teams Ruthless and Mercado Athletics.
Lana is married with two daughters and in her spare time enjoys spending it with her family, working out, playing pickleball and hiking.
