BOYS SOCCER WINS OPENER OVER AQUINAS

The boys soccer team opened the 2025 campaign with a shutout over Aquinas on Thursday.

“It was great to be back out there,” said Coach Ikwuagwu of the team’s effort and play.

The Wolves took 36 shots on goal, scoring 4 and recorded a shutout.

“The players played together and did everything we wanted them to do,” he added.  “A good start.”

Jose Vazquez scored the first of the game (and season) on an assist from Alexander Ruelas.  Raphael Meza and Eli Ramos also scored and Jemeni McKee had an unassisted goal.  Along with and assist on the Meza score, McKee was chose the player of the game.

Omar Izzaldeen added an assist as well.
