NORCO:  The boys basketball team moved to 2-1 on the Big 8 campaign with a resounding win over Norco on Wednesday night.  The final was 67-44.

The Wolves were led by an outstanding game from Josh Ajayi who had 25 points.  Chukwuma Ezinwa put in 14 and Mark Cadena had a 12-point Double-Double.

“Teamwork and defense opened the game up for us,” said King head coach Darius Durham.  “We have to keep that in the forefront of our minds going forward.”

That’s the thing about sports.  A temptation to think individually usually results in defeat.  Putting first things first … like teamwork, you get second things thrown in as well.

King is an impressive 18-7 this season.
