The Team of Distinction for the Class of 2024 Induction is the 2010 CIF Champion Girls soccer team. The Lady Wolves started the 2009-10 season with an inconsistent 6 wins and 6 losses. However, under the guidance of Coach Giovanni Napoletano, they ran off 14 wins in 17 games to win the CIF Championship. The Final Championship game was played in heavy rain at Mission Viejo High School.  After 100 minutes of a 1-1 tie, the Wolves won 3-1 in penalty kicks over league rival and heavily favored Santiago High School. The team would finish with a record of 20 wins-10 losses and 1 tie.
